hello
friends
NICE TO MEET YOU
I'm a graphic designer with a BFA in Communication Design and a long history of being the kid getting chased through parking lots for riding a skateboard. The two things are related.
Skateboarding teaches you fast that you find your people by not looking like everyone else. That's pretty much my approach to design — I make work for clients who'd rather be recognized than blend in.
We're in a moment where AI can spit out a logo in 90 seconds and a full brand system before lunch. It'll be fine. It'll also look exactly like everyone else's fine — same five typefaces, same gradient, same sad little mark that could belong to a SaaS company or a chiropractor. The kind of design that actually gets remembered has fingerprints on it.
I've done packaging for an urban chicken ranch and an identity for a historic building, and what those projects had in common is the answer wasn't sitting in a template. Each one was a puzzle. I solved it by paying attention — to the client, to the space, to what didn't already exist.
If you want generic, AI is right there and it's free. If you want something that looks like a person made it on purpose — that's me.
